Houthi military spokesperson Yahya Saree announced tonight (Monday) that the Houthis were imposing a naval blockade on the port city of Haifa, in addition to their aerial blockade on the airport of Ben Gurion.

According to Kann reporter Roi Kais, Saree called on all companies to move all their ships away from Haifa and not dock there. The decision, according to Kais, was in response to Israel's escalation of the war in Gaza and the increased hunger there.

Israeli air traffic is already suffering from Houthi missile attacks, even those which are intercepted, as increasing numbers of airlines are delaying returning to service Israel to June and even beyond, and Ryanair is even threatening to entirely end service to the country.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that the Houthis will continue to feel "blows" and that the war with them is not over.
