Syria to Israel: You can keep the Golan - on these conditions
Lebanese media is reporting that Syria is serious about making peace with Israel, subject to a number of core demands, absent one.

The Lebanese LBCI channel reported from sources involved in the developments in Syria that Syrian has multiple demands from Israel, but that these do not include Israeli withdrawal from the Golan Heights, according to Kann reporter Roi Kais.
These "include Israeli recognition of Ahmed al-Sharaa's regime, withdrawal from territories occupied by Israel since last December and from the buffer zone in the Golan, cessation of Israeli attacks in Syria, security arrangements in southern Syria - in the border area and in the border triangle with Jordan, and especially American guarantees for the agreements and American support for the Syrian government. In return, Syria would recognize Israeli sovereignty over the Golan Heights."
