Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reportedly told the narrow cabinet that Israel needs to impose a siege on remaining Hamas forces, and that he would put his "whole resume" on the line that it would work, according to a report today (Wednesday) by Channel 12 News.
Netanyahu reportedly told other ministers that everyone agrees that if there weren't any hostages remaining, "Gaza should be flattened." But to avoid getting them killed, Hamas forces need to be besieged.
The IDF currently controls about 65-75% of the Gaza Strip thanks to Operation Gideon's Chariots.
